Deaconesses

The ladies who serve as FBC deaconesses minister to The First Family in many ways.  They prepare communion each month, prepare people for baptism and take care of the baptismal rooms and robes and minister regularly to those who are sick, shut-in and bereaved.  They frequently prepare luncheons at the church for the families of those in our church who have passed away.  Their ministry to those who have suffered loss is probably what these ladies are most commended for.  They sense God’s call to serve those who hurt.
