Deacons

The Board of Deacons is the governing body of First  Baptist Church of Toms River.  It consists of up to seven qualified men elected by  the Church along with the Pastors.  They are: Roger Hutchings, Art Norregaard, Russ Kauffman, Maynard Lancaster, George Kelsey, and John  Strain, Senior Pastor & Secretary.

The Deacon Board oversees all ministries of FBC and is responsible for the spiritual and material well being of the Church.

One of the most  important aspects of the Deacon Board is the Undershepard Program.  This  program divides all the members of the church among the Deacons thus allowing  each member to communicate directly with his or her Deacon.  If you do not  know your Deacon or would like to be assigned a Deacon please call the church  office for information.
