Royce Bauerlein

Royce, along with her sister Beth, was raised in Fort Lee by Louise & LeRoy Bauerlein.  After graduating from high school, Royce went to the Berkeley Secretarial School in New York City.  In August of 1970 Royce gave her life to Jesus Christ as she was riding home from work on a bus crossing the George Washington Bridge, reading “Beyond Our Selves” by Catherine Marshall.  

January 31, 2003, Royce moved to Toms River from Garfield, where she had lived for almost 17 years.  Royce worked for over 30 years in the corporate world, including positions at Sharp Electronics, Nextel and NeoWorld and worked at H&R Healthcare in Lakewood, prior to beginning her job at First Baptist Church on August 30, 2005. 

On May 4, 2003, Royce transferred her membership from Hawthorne Gospel Church to First Baptist Church where she is currently the Church Clerk, a member of the ACA Committee and Administrative Assistant to Pastor John Strain.
